I'll be away...

I'll go to in another city during weekend so I'll be away from Thursday to Monday ^^ Friday's and Monday's postcards will be registered at Monday evening (if there is any of course...)

Because Wednesday is still non-postcards day for me I have no photos of cards now... (I still wonder why Wednesday? Do postcards jump over it or something?) But I think I'll show my letter box! I made it by myself something like year ago ^^

Front side, Letters goes in here :')

I wanted to make it looks... well, international ^^' So I made flags of countries where my pen-friends were from back then and some of my favorite countries (there is more on another sides, but I thought this is view enough to give a idea) But it looked kinda boring only with flags... I was thinking about to put world map on backround but then there would had be too less space... So I used lyrics. I looked up songs in different languages (and checked translations ^^'') and choose thoise which I think sounds nice. I was so proud when I finished this box :'D

But you know what?
I need new one.
This one is almost full. All letters and some of postcards ("photo" size postcards are in album book and bigger ones goes in box. Some of them are also on walls, or my table, or next to window, or bookcase... or somewhere around where I thought it would looks nice ^^) So, I have alredy new box and I need only decorate it, but I'm not sure how... I was thinking maybe I would use map this time... Or pick up some phrase like "I love you" and write it in different languages... Well, we'll see~

Post stamp desing

I want to show you my shopping bag. I think it fit nicely in this blog because I bought it from post. It's made to looks like one of 2nd class stamps. There is photos so you can see:

I also like very much of that stamp (which is now gave desing for this bag) It shows all four season, winter, autumn, summer and spring. You know, when lake is very calm you can see perfect mirror view on it (can't explain it... sorry!) so I simply like this idea how "mirror view" is always next season. (Oh my... I really failed with this explanation... Well, I think you can see what I mean ^^'')

In Finland post offices (not all but most of them) are more like shops with all kind of postal stuff. Postcards, stamps, calenders, envelopes and packing things... etc... I like to go to buy my stamps and postcards from there because it's simply so nice place (and peoples knows me there already...) I remember when I went first time to postoffice in Belgium and it looked so... quiet place.

I wanted to test if I know now how to put photos on blog... It seems to work! Hurray!
Those are stickers which I found today when I went shop food with my mom. Looks cool, right? I was thinking I would decorate postcards with them =D

Good news

I heard that Estonian Air will start flights between my home city and Tallinn! You know what that means? Yes, I can travel straight to Estonia without to go first to Helsinki =D And because there is about 600 km travel from my homecity to Helsinki, it will be really great to go to Estonia without to stop there first! (Finland is pretty long country. About 1080 km from Hanko to Utsjoki so it takes something like 11 hours to drive it with car... Or I'm not sure. Never tried that.)

Anyway. I still don't know when I'll go to visit Estonia. I'm planing it since I visited Sweden! (it was summer 2010...) And, I can still speak Estonian ^^'' At least little bit. I studied it, but it was also long time ago... I think I'm already forgotten everything plus there was something wrong with my pronunciation since I hadn't enough time to take lessons for speaking...
